Work Experince - What is it

Life Be in it's aim is to provide the skills and training that is necessary to help you find your dream job! We do this through real life work experience, accredited training, communication and confidence building workshops, access to referees and employment networks and developing other essential work skills.

We work with the Department of Education, Employment & Workplace Relations, Centrelink and your Job Services Australia Member to find the best solutions available to increase your employability. As a result many participants of ‘Life. Be in it' programs have gone on to employment and traineeships. Here at Life. Be in it' your future is our business so if you have any questions please give us a call today or drop in and say hi to our friendly team.

Work for the Dole (WFD) provides work experience placements for job seekers in approved activities which provide facilities and services to local communities. Through WFD, participants will receive accredited training and relevant work experience as well as access to referees and networks.

Who is eligible

Work for the Dole provides work experience placements for unemployed people. Placements usually last for six months. Normal working hours are between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm, two days a week, but this can be negotiated as some participants and activities require non-standard hours of work and participants have differing participation requirements.

If you want to enrol in a non-accredited course, don't despair, ask Life Be in it to forward your request to the Department for approval. The Department approves courses on the basis of whether they will improve your chances of gaining employment. These are only examples of what you could do-the list is endless!! Choose something that will help you and enrol today.
